APC is the exclusive representative of all California State University employees in Unit 4, Academic Support, regarding their terms and conditions of employment. As such, APC engages in collective bargaining with CSU management about the Collective Bargaining Agreement (a/k/a “Memorandum of Understanding” or “Contract”) covering these terms and conditions of employment. APC also represents Unit 4 members in grievances against CSU management to ensure the enforcement (a/k/a “maintenance”) of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
